Job Description

Job Title: Product Manager
Department: Marketing
Reports to: Manager, Product Management
Location: Boston

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage the creation, communication and updates of the Product Roadmap for your product modules with input from internal stakeholders, end users, customers and executive management.
  • Develop product requirements for new products through work with customers, prospects, sales, and internal users, and analysis of the overall market needs and competitive products.
  • Collect and analyze direct feedback from users, customers and potential clients to create and prioritize product or service offerings, enhancements, defects, and features.
  • Provide input for product management best practices and SOPs
  • Identify new market opportunities, positioning or packaging tactics to better serve customer needs or increase differentiation
  • Define business cases for new product offerings including ROI as needed
  • Launch new products to both internal and external users
  • Train internal users and sales team on new product releases including features and benefits
  • Manage the creation of effective product demonstrations and train sales force on demonstration execution
  • Work with others on the Marketing team to assist in the development of marketing programs and sales tools.
  • 20%-30% travel

Education Minimum: BS degree or higher - preferably in life sciences, CS, or Business/Marketing.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Previous Product Management experience preferably in a life sciences or healthcare technology organization.
  • Experience with databases, Web, or handheld technologies and software applications
  • Pharmaceutical Industry knowledge and experience with clinical data capture systems or clinical research a plus.
  • Excellent team and leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Track record of increasing responsibility and success
