PHT Corporation Partners with CMARC to Offer the Disabled Independence Through Employment
Leading global supplier of eDiaries for pharmaceutical trials supports mission of local provider of programs and services for disabled
Boston, MA – December 9, 2008 – PHT Corporation, the market-leading provider of electronic patient reported outcome (ePRO) solutions used in more than 360 clinical trials worldwide, is working with Boston-area company CMARC to help people with disabilities. CMARC is a leader in developing programs and services for people with disabilities and over the past 40 years has helped more than 3,000 people lead more independent lives.
PHT uses CMARC’s team to streamline its hardware production times. When hardware – such as Palm’s Tungsten T/X– arrives at PHT for software customization, the hardware is packaged with extraneous packaging and accessories. CMARC employees remove the devices from the packaging and place them and appropriate accessories in a tote for PHT. Onsite at PHT, the devices are processed and customized for PHT-specific needs.

CMARC employees deliver up to 3,500 devices to PHT each month. These activities significantly decrease the amount of time it takes PHT to assemble and ship ePRO products. De-boxing devices and accessories off-site helps PHT minimize storage and waste costs associated with the excess materials.
