PHT's LogPad ePRO System used by Jazz Pharmaceuticals
Global ePRO market leader PHT delivers the voice of the patient
BOSTON, Mass – September 22, 2009 – PHT Corporation announced that Jazz Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: JAZZ) has used PHT’s LogPad™ System to collect electronic patient reported outcomes (ePRO) in its recently completed clinical trial. Jazz Pharmaceuticals’ recent project builds on the company’s previous experiences with PHT for the collection of endpoint data.
PHT is the leading provider of ePRO solutions used in more than 400 clinical trials worldwide. Palo Alto, California-based Jazz Pharmaceuticals (www.JazzPharmaceuticals.com) is a specialty pharmaceutical company that identifies, develops and commercializes innovative treatments for important, underserved markets in neurology and psychiatry.
Patients use PHT’s electronic diary, the LogPad, to record their symptoms at home. Clinicians can enter data about subjects on the LogPad or PHT’s SitePad during office visits. PHT’s ePRO solution product suite includes an online portal that sites and sponsors use to monitor the data in real-time as well as a fully reconstructable study archive that allows a trial to be fully reconstructed by regulatory auditors without a live study database. PHT’s services to sponsors include scientific consulting and recommendations for diary design.
David Borbas RN, MIS, is the Director of Data Management for Jazz Pharmaceuticals. Mr. Borbas said, “I have worked with PHT since 2006. Their team has always delivered excellent results with a high degree of performance, reliability, quality, and on-time service.”
