Site Telecom Assessments
Global trials demand reliable data transmissions, regardless of regional, political, or economic issues. Although global telecommunications are outside of PHT's control, we recognize that unexpected political or communication circumstances can impact a study. As a result, PHT works to mitigate Sponsor risk by performing telecommunication evaluations for every site location within every trial. Assessments include primary and secondary telecommunications recommendations per site location.
Reducing Sponsor Risk with Readiness
Similar to how the PHT Science Team provides Sponsors with recommendations on which ePRO collection device(s) will best suit the protocol, the PHT Telecommunications team recommends the primary and secondary reliable data transfer method(s) for each site and/or subject location. Analog, IP, and Wireless transmission options are considered and tested. Site-based testing prior to the study start provides an extra level of confidence to both the site and Sponsor that the PHT ePRO collection device(s) will work efficiently and effectively at each location. As a result, sites and subjects enjoy a reliable transmission experience, and Sponsor budgets avoid emergency shipment expenses.
Experience within 66 Countries, and Counting...
With more experience than all other ePRO vendors combined, PHT maintains a live record of telecommunication issues and resolutions worldwide. When a Sponsor identifies a location outside this scope, the Telecommunications team works quickly to access the area, and engages PHT engineers to analyze the results and deliver risk assessments based on actual and expected transmissions from each site.
Ensuring Reliable Telecommunications
Predictable transmissions are required for global trials, and especially critical for studies with rapid enrollment timelines. PHT's Site Telecom Assessment reduces the risk of data disruptions. For more information, contact PHT.
